Meg Hooper

There’s a reason many of Meg Hooper’s clients become her lifelong friends. During what could be the stressful process of planning a wedding, Meg communicates with the bride and bride’s family with warmth and efficiency, creating an experience that is fun for all involved. Her kindness, friendly spirit, and organization bring people together.

It’s no wonder—the great joy Meg experiences on the job is contagious, the result of a deep personal investment in relationships with both her clients and her team. 

Even while remaining intimately involved with each bride, Meg handpicks the Oliver Hooper Events team members who will best understand and execute the vision each bride has for her wedding day. When the big day arrives, Meg exudes calm while juggling the kinds of details that would make most people’s heads spin. Somehow she’s crouched down playing with flower girls, hunting lipstick for bridesmaids, and positioning band members all while blending into the background of a seamless, stress-free wedding.

Meg first honed her organization skills during her college years as an intern in the First Lady’s Communication and Social Offices at the White House. Upon graduation from the University of Virginia, Meg moved to Greenville where she worked in campus ministry at Furman University and later on staff at a local church. Meg is married to Travis, a Greenville native, and they have three daughters. Meg spends her free time with her family and friends—particularly in downtown Greenville, in the mountains at Lake Toxaway, and back home in Texas.
