Starting as an intern at Oliver Hooper Events, Liz quickly proved herself to be calm and collected even in the midst of a worst-case weather scenario. Her first week on the job she helped the team rescue an outdoor reception after a torrential storm collapsed the tent the night before the wedding. You’d find her with a broom in hand tackling every challenge—all with a bright smile and light-hearted laugh lighting up the room.
A Greenville native and graduate of the University of South Carolina, with a degree in public health, Liz is often asked what lead her to event planning. Her answer is effortless. While she interned with Taylor and Meg, she loved how the team was able to play such an important role in clients’ lives, bringing them joy and peace with enthusiasm and care. She knew she had to be a part of this.
Now, her background in education and public health allows her to provide clients with fresh perspective, positive energy, and strong organization— combined with her style, grace, and level-headedness she brings passion, enthusiasm, and ease to every event.
From overseeing acute design details to organizing large groups of people, you’ll find her managing each event so that the client can enjoy their day stress-free. This is her favorite part of the job—knowing her clients well and knowing what they love in order to make their event as seamless as possible.
When she is not caring for a bride, you can find her training for her next half-marathon or teaching work out classes. She loves running on the Swamp Rabbit Trail, visiting coffee shops, and leading Young Life.
